Coming to Israel for Sukkot: what to plan

Sukkot is one of the busiest travel periods of the Israeli year. Flights and apartments in Jerusalem sell out months ahead, and prices roughly double. When renting, confirm two things explicitly: whether the apartment has usable sukkah space, and how the building handles Chag elevators. Chol HaMoed attractions are crowded from mid-morning, so start early.
